The Hi Pointe theatre. This place hasn't changed much at all since 1922 (complete with antique furniture). It's kind of a neat place, but the theatre was built before the stadium seating concept, so it's often hard to see over the person in front of you because there is no real slope to it. They're showing Juno now and I saw No Country for Old Men there recently... Photographically, I'm not real happy with this but I figured I would post it anyways. This is clearly shot with my fisheye lens, which is a little softer and less sharp generally than my other lenses. Because of that the noise of the 1600 ISO I think is pretty pronounced. If I had to do it over again I would have taken the trouble to set up a tripod to get some longer, less noisy exposures... |

Frank March 2, 2008 - 7:14am Beautiful lights, great point of view. Brian March 1, 2008 - 7:35pm I actually like how the fisheye distorts the sign. And with all of the bright colors and contrasts, I don't notice the noise very much. | ||
