watch your step July 1, 2008 Finally went down to the Mississippi waterfront here in Saint Louis to check out the flood. Not too dramatic... By eyeball I would have trouble guessing how much it is up. 15, 20 feet? There is a road that runs down by the water that is under a good 5-7 feet of water, I think. But the city itself is all on pretty high ground. I don't think any of Saint Louis City will get submerged until the next ice age.
